In my world, there was once a spark known simply as 'The Other.' They brought untold death and destruction down on Europa, wiped out entire towns and enslaved thousands of people. I won't bore you with the gritty details of the war or the full list of atrocities. The important thing is that the Other is dangerous. Very dangerous.

[This is important. She has to get this across now because she knows how Lucrezia is. She's very good at manipulating people, telling them what they want to hear, getting them to respect her.... or underestimate her, as it suits her purposes.]
